Catalogue of the manuscripts and remaining library of John Ruskin, removed from his residence, Brantwood, Coniston, and sold with the consent of Arthur Severn, Esq., and of his Trustees, comprising the autograph manuscripts of Fors Clavigera, a great part of Praeterita, and many works on art and literature, lectures, etc.; the notes and material for The stones of Venice; copious diaries and note-books, covering the whole of his working life; correspondence with his father; early poems and juvenilia, etc.; also the extremely fine collection of letters (to John Ruskin and to Mrs. Severn), drawings, and presentation books by Kate Greenaway. The books include: works with presentation inscriptions by Thomas Carlyle and C. L. Dodgson; a coloured copy of Young's night thoughts; a few early books and illuminated manuscripts; etc., which will be sold by auction by Messrs. Sotheby & Co. (G. D. Hobson, M.V.O., F. W. Warre, O.B.E., M.C., C. G. Des Graz, B.A., Miss E. Barlow, C. V.
